Oumar presently teaches Business and Economics Statistics courses in the Department of Statistics at Kansas State University.

As a research statistician, Oumar is responsible for the analysis of large datasets collected as part of multi-million dollar research projects. In addition to executing traditional statistical analyses, Oumar develops and implements more specialized statistical procedures such as multilevel modelling, mediation analysis, and generalized mixed models.
