provides practical information to support work in promoting
community health and development. The site is maintained by
the Work Group on Health Promotion and Community Development
at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas, and was developed
with AHEC/Community Partners in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Habitat for Humanity International

is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. HFHI
seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the
world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and
action.
